MEET THE FOUNDERS
In early 1981, Joe and Louise Hall purchased a small tavern in the Hopewell Shopping Center, named the Fireside Lounge. At the time, Joe's experience included managing more than 15 restaurants in 20 years, and turning numerous unsuccessful restaurants into successful ones.
On April 25, 1981, J.W. Hall's Steak & Seafood Inn opened. Less than three years later, the size of the restaurant was more than doubled to keep up with the growing business. Joe's focus has always been that the customer comes first. It is simple have good food and good service and they'll come back.
Over 40 years later, the customers are still returning and new customers are coming too. In early 2023, Joe Hall's General Manager of over 20 years, Donna Klesser, took ownership of the restaurant with her husband, Mark Klesser, daughter, Sarah Gleisberg (Klesser), and son-in-law, Matt Gleisberg. The Klesser/Gleisberg family will continue to uphold the quality service and food that Joe established.
